Diego is twenty years old and hasn't finished high school yet. Not feeling confident about himself, he takes refuge in hip drugs and parties to avoid confronting his eating disorder, his family issues and his sexual orientation. 'Axolotl' portrays a young man who lives by the day, unwilling or incapable of thinking about his future. A nihilist attitude that mirrors the mettle of a whole generation.
